Happy Fourth of July!

Or Independence Day, whichever you call it.

Happy Fourth!

Independence Day, or the Fourth of July, became a federal holiday in 1941. Of course, it was celebrated long before it became federally recognized. On July 2nd, 1776, the Founding Fathers voted for independence from Britain, and two days later, the Declaration of Independence was made. Now, and since the first Independence Day, people have celebrated with fireworks, parades, concerts, and their families.
