Southwest Covenant Patriot Project hosted the Friday Coffee crowd this morning. Had a big crowd out to enjoy the abundant rain. Well, that plus all the goodies served.

Jennifer Filippone and the ladies of Patriot Project work hard and this year will donate part of what they earn to Faith Clinic and Reach Ministries.

Scott Kinney with Trinity Baptist Church opened in prayer followed by the flag salute.

Grace Enmeier, field representative for US Representative Frank Lucas announced there will be a Town Hall meeting, Tuesday, August 20th, at the Yukon Police Department beginning at 10:00 am. Plan now to be there!

Carole Clemmons with Youth and Family Services wants everyone to come to Archery Traditions for their benefit shoot on August 17th starting at 1:00. Lots of raffle and door prizes to be won.

Sheri Poage reminded everyone to check out Cruise-in for a Cause, Thursday, September 12.  Money raised will be donated to Manna Pantry, Compassionate Hands, Gateway Express Testing and Yukon Sharing. Contact Vicki Davis for more information.

D’Lynn McDaniel with Community Engagement thanked everyone for supporting the New Teacher Luncheon on Tuesday. She said the new teachers were in awe of everything in Yukon. 

Kyle Worthington announced the Canadian County Free Fair August 22 through 24.

Come enjoy the chaos that is Friday Coffee next week at the Veteran’s Museum.
