Main Street ‘Christmas Unwrapped’ Brings Holiday Cheer to Yukon

On November 21, many of the Main Street businesses came together to help get the people of Yukon into the Holiday spirit.

For a few hours, Main Street transformed into “Christmas Unwrapped,” where several local businesses provided sweet treats, hot apple cider, photos with Santa, Christmas carols, and a snowflake art show. People were also able to go explore the businesses, which stayed open late to accommodate shoppers and passers by, as well as take their photo in a life size snow globe!

It was definitely an event for the books, and one that community members and business owners alike look forward to celebrating every year.

Did you miss out on the fun? Don’t worry! You have another chance to make it out to Main Street and ring in the holiday season tomorrow, December 5th, from 5:00-8:00. Come on out, see the wonderful things Main Street has to offer, and check some gifts off your holiday shopping list while you’re at it!
