This week’s adoptable pet is a newbie to the shelter!
She hasn’t been given a name yet, but what we do know is that she is 100% sweet! This little rat terrier ended up at the shelter because her human got sick, and she doesn’t understand why she no longer has a home. She’s an older lady, but she still has a lot of love to give. You can even tell by the heart markings in her fur!
Oftentimes, senior dogs are overlooked in shelters in favor of small puppies. Taking in an older dog has its perks because they are typically house trained, generally have better manners, and are more mellow in personality and activity level.
This little lady would love to be the newest member of your family! If you are interested in adopting her or providing a foster home, contact Pets and People Humane Society at (405) 350-7387. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to ask any questions.
As always, you can visit any of the Pets and People animals during normal shelter hours. We here at Yukon’s Best would love to see this beautiful girl go to a loving family to spend the rest of her days. For that reason, she is our Adoptable Pet of the Week!
